It is what it says it is. If you like Sagrada and want to play with a couple more people then this is for you.
A much needed expansion, in my opinion. I thought Sagrada should have started out as an up to 6 player game. Definitely worth the purchase price. The makers of Sagrada did a nice job adding an additional element to ensure that game play isn’t too long with 6 players. It wasn’t at all difficult to understand the new objectives, either. It’s also nice that the new objectives can optionally be used with fewer players.
Personally, I felt it could be frustrating to play with all 90 dice and feel trapped in snake draws when the one color you need just never showed up. This expansion allows for perfect knowledge of dice probability and with private windows, better strategy to maximize chances for high scores!
Also, I wasn't a fan of the same private scoring objectives over and over. The addition of new private objectives improves replayability- although I wish there were even more ;)
Only drafting one dice with a private pool also speeds up the game immensely! Higher score, faster game play, more strategy, and an already great game is made better! Well done :D
The expansion for Sagrada brings two more players to the table to allow you to play with more people. Adding two plays means that each round takes a little bit longer, but not noticeably so. At least for us. We had all played before and knew what we needed for the most part. Adding two players does however increase the overall game time when you have 6 vs 4. The expansion adds a little bf everything, new goals, and ever an alternative play method. Still the same fun game as before. Just more playable since you are not bound by the 4 player restriction.
