In Questline, assemble a hand of 7 sequential cards, claiming and discarding cards as you refine your selections. Gather up cards with compatible story elements and effects to earn the most reputation!

Everything takes place simultaneously in real time - no turns or rounds - you decide when your hand is complete. Don't waste time, but be careful not to rush too much and leave gaps in your story...

Draft & discard.

Starting with a hand of hero class and story cards, draw new cards and discard (face up) the ones you don't want as you secretly refine your hand.

Take cards from face down decks, reclaim your own discards, or claim your neighbor's discards! Will your discard be exactly what your opponents need, or will you spot the perfect one for your story?

Craft your story.

Your final hand must form an unbroken number sequence (unless you've got shortcut cards, of course) but finding cards that work well together is key to winning Questline

Class and story cards interact in a variety of ways, providing bonuses, shortcuts, and even negative effects. Compatible cards form a more satisfying story worth more reputation stars (points).

Race to victory.

You decide when your hand is complete, but don't search too long! The first to lock in their final hands claim the best epilogue cards with the most bonus reputation stars.

Don't move too fast and make a mistake either. If you find yourself with gaps in your questline sequence, you must sacrifice your highest value cards to fill in your story's plot holes!

Tell your tales.

Once everyone's hand is complete, tally up the reputation from your story class, story, and epilogue cards that form your questline to determine the winner.

Then, read your assembled questline to the table! Add your own flavor and spin as you read out the text on your cards. Is your story the stuff of legend, or tale best forgotten?
