What is Nerdz Day exactly?

A once-a-year sale where you can find deals on some of the hottest board games, card games, rpgs, miniatures & supplies that we have stocked up just for this day. This isn't a clearance sale!
- 10 new items will become available every hour during the sale. Each item will remain discounted until sold out, or the sale ends.
- In a nutshell, we hope it's the best sale in the industry, both in terms of value and the overall experience.
When will Nerdz Day take place?

Nerdz Day will take place on August 11th, 2023 beginning at 12:00 PM CDT.

The final 10 items will go live beginning at 9:00 PM CDT.

The sale ends at 11:59 AM on August 12th, 2023.
Will there be a Deal of the Day on Nerdz Day?
- No, Nerdz Day completely replaces our traditional Deal of the Day. Technically speaking, Nerdz Day is the Deal of the Day x 100!
Will there be clues/riddles given about potential items like last year?
- Absolutely! We hope to have all 100 items with clues posted on our website by August 10th.
Is there anything I can do to be prepared?
- The most helpful thing you can do is make sure you have customer holds enabled on your account. Customers can enable this functionality by going to the Holds tab in My Account - https://www.gamenerdz.com/holds
- Shorten your checkout time! Something that is very helpful is checking out via credit card and selecting the option to "Save this card for future transactions" prior to the sale so your information is saved for a quick checkout.
What if an item sells out before I can buy it?
- We've done our best this year to bring in larger quantities so they don't sell out in seconds. However, in the event it sells out before you can checkout, there are no rainchecks.
- We suggest signing up for restock notifications for the items you want to purchase. If other customers cancel orders before the sale has ended, the canceled items will go back into our available inventory, triggering a restock alert to your account’s email address.
- Keep in mind our cart system does not hold inventory for you by simply being in your cart and you will need to checkout to secure the item.

- Actual items will not be revealed until they go live for sale.
- Clues will be posted in advance, but not all at once.

When will my items ship?
- All items are in stock and ready to ship. However, please note that there will be a longer order processing timeframe due to the large volume of orders.
- This means your order(s) will stay in the "awaiting fulfillment" status until they are shipped.
- We've increased our staff and working hours to try to get through the orders from Nerdz Day as quickly as possible. Please be patient and know that we are working around the clock to get the amazing games in your hands as quickly as possible.
- Orders will be shipped in the order they were received.
I recently bought item(s) that were in the Nerdz Day sale. Can I get the same price?
