    quality of models and gameplay

Posted by Jason Rodriguez on Feb 1st 2018

Once again Corvus Belli manages to amaze me with the quality of the models and the packaging of which they ship. Game Nerdz also does a great job with getting the models to you in a timely fashiion. As for game play ALL MODELS ARE USEFULL depending on your playstyle

I'm going to run Ragiks just to use that model.

    Must own expansion

This is an awesome expansion to the starter set from Corvus Belli. Models are well thought out and help each faction. Models are metal but the newer design makes assembly much easier than previous Infinity models.

One of the few packs that I like every single model.

    Model preview

Posted by Sebastian Marrero on Sep 16th 2017

In game terms this box is a bit of a Monkey's paw in that it gave the sculpts and resculpts I've been itching for since a year ago, but with the profiles I didn't want them to be (that is to say the HMG Daofei, Guilang Multi-Sniper, and Ragik Female with a Boarding Shotgun). Zhanying and Tarik Mansuri work out fine.

I'm not too convinced that a starter set should include named characters but that's more of a personal preference.

    On to the actual models:

The assemble together well enough, but be warned, these models have a lot of flash (according to others it seems more than usual)

Hassassin Fiday and Zhanying gave the impressionn of having the least amount of flash when I assembled them. In fact the Fiday was interesting in seeing how only three parts were needed to make it come together.

Some leg pieces are separate from the Torso, like with the Hassassin Ragik and the Guilang. Be careful when glueing together the arms and guns of the Zhanying, Ragik, and Guilang as they're a bit tricky. The Ragik gave me the most trouble and I suggest assembling her arms first before the rest of the body and the wings.

Not many mold lines were found, biggest I saw was one Tarik's gun but it's nothing unamanageable. A scrape with an X-acto knife and/or some small files will do the trick to get rid of them. Four of the models come with pieces of rubble to help decorate the base, these can be easily integrated to most basing schemes although I find the Fiday's the strangest.

Overall high quality and I recommend it on a model basis
