A good story with good art -- gave some fluff to life in the human sphere (I only know the basics) + a cool model included.
This is a nice view into the world of infinity... esp the world outside of direct service to the corps. Great fun.
This is better than it had a right to be in terms of contents of the "Manga" for a tabletop wargame [an aside for the quotation marks because it's neither Japanese nor read in the format and order of the usual tankōbon one might be familiar with, that being right to left, instead best being described as a Graphic Novel and read like the usual franco-belgian or American comicbook]. The inside is well drawn, although a bit dark and murky with some Mike Mignola-esque chiaroscuro style here and there and some oddly confusing layouts around a couple pages as well. Nothing major, everything's rather diligently drawn.
There's a decent story here with a reasonable twist that helps balance out fleshing out a broadly stroked universe and keeping things accessible.
The characters are just enticing enough to make you want more of it. They don't pander by making a silly story of Achilles or whomever might have been interesting to the players, but they really draw you in with great art style (although cutesy at times) and solid writing. A lot more enjoyable than the usual Black Library novella one might find for 40k. Small glossary in the back, along with some notes/comments from the authors.
The mini itself is fine, comes in its own section of the box that can surprise you when it pops out. Has three pieces. Well detailed and easy to assemble. Paints up nice too.
I'm not generally a big manga reader, but I love all the backstory and Infinity, and I wanted the exclusive figure, so I went for it. It really is a great story, and I plan on lending mine to friends who want to know more because it's such a great window into the story. I hope they do another one.
Outrage is an excellent short manga. The story is fast-paced with some compelling characters who keep you interested until the very end. This manga is lacking in backstory character development, though
An action packed view into the worlds of Infinity. Well worth picking up
