    Classic Horror Movie theme

A well themed Cooperative boardgame that is easy to play and teach to new gamers. The pick-up and deliver mechanic plays very well into the classic horror movies theme. Solo to 5 players battle against the a few of the 6 monsters each with different mechanics. will you prevail or lose the village to the monsters? Horrified has a high replay-ability and the games will be each be different.

This game is excellent! I pre ordered it for my husband's birthday and we finally had time to play it last night. We have only played once but it seems that there is enough to make each game different and what I really like is that while similar to Buffy the Vampire Slayer or other cooperative horror games, each monster has its own game to play to defeat them. We look forward to playing with more people and trying all of the monsters!

Horrified - Classic Horror Board Game

Posted by Ken Perryman on Aug 18th 2019

I grew up watching the classic Universal Monsters with my grandfather, so I knew I would love this game regardless. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find my wife and friends shared the sentiment!
To over-simplify, this is a Pandemic re-skin with classic monsters. However, I don't think that comparison is entirely fair - as the monsters are asymmetrical and offer quite a bit of variety to the game.
For myself, this is my new gateway game of choice - or a really fun nostalgic solo experience.
